Central High School, Bibb County Board of Education, Macon, GA
This 220,000 square foot facility was built to replace the existing high school that was adjacent to the new facility. As a magnet fine arts school for the school system, this facility included a visual arts lab (drawing, painting, clay) as well as a performing arts auditorium, plus biology and chemistry labs, classroom space, and ROTC facilities. Considered the flagship high school for the system, the front of the school was designed to resemble the Old Lanier High School which preceded Central and burned in 1967. Greene & Associates installed all the plumbing systems for this facility.
